It could be a good day at The Range. The wind should come around SE and lots of it. There are a bunch of us heading there around 1:00 o'clock.

I couldn't make it out today but am hoping to get out sometime tomorrow afternoon. Looks like it could be a crazy one. Guess I should finish fixing my 7m or I'll be sitting on the beach!

Today was only ok. The wind was up and down- typical for the range. Someone needs to invent a kite that morphs from a 9m to a 15m in the blink of an eye. As for tomorrow---- it's gonna be pretty sick so fix that 7m.

It held air overnight! I'm good to go now! Just wish my new board would make it here today!

Yesterday was great Gav!

You should have pumped up that 9m and stayed another hour Smile

See you at the beach boys!

I'm heading out around 3 (be there around 3:30). Going to hit up Stoney first and see what the launch and conditions are like. Conrads will be my backup.

My session lasted a total of 4.5 minutes. There was just no room for error and I really didn't feel like having to self land the thing since everyone was leaving so I packed it in while Andy and Gavin were still around.
Those couple minutes I was out, the new board felt pretty good. Can't wait to try it out for real!
Took a wind reading before I left the beach, it was 35-50 knots! Holy! Lived to kite another day.

Best day in ages! Big wind and waves- out in 3/4 on a 7 all day long. It was getting pretty hecktic at the end. Had a scary moment there when a gust ripped Chris's kite out of my hands during a launch!!! Furtunately Chris had not hooked in yet as the kite was directly down wind of the bar and in the power zone. Holy hot launch! That would have been a lousy way to end a perfect day.

Must have been quite a bit lighter in St. Margarets Bay. I'm sure it hit 20+ knots several times while I was out, but I don't think it made it to 25. I was pretty powered up on the 12m, and self landing was sketchy, flagged the kite out and it flopped around a few times before coming to rest in the grass. Hopefully no holes.
