New Kiter Looking for help (dartmouth)
Hey all,
I'm a new kiter with relatively no experience but I'm looking to finally put my new gear to use. Anybody learning themselves or are experienced and willing to teach me a few things? Give me a shout if you are, nhalldorson1@hotmail.com
Names Nik, cheers

Re: New Kiter Looking for help (dartmouth)
Hey Nik,
Welcome to the forum and to the sport! I just wanted to point you to some resources that will hopefully help you learn the in and outs of the sport. First off, if you want info on local spots and good places for learning then check out our website http://www.kaons.ca/. Also, since you are still in the learning process I highly recommend taking a lesson. There is an IKO certified instructor in the area named Gavin Feargrieve who can also be found on this forum. He is a very thorough and patient instructor and has excellent lesson rates. I will PM you his email address so you can contact him if you so desire. Other than that I suggest making an appearance at some of the spots shown on the website and introduce yourself to some of the local kiters as they can be a tremendous asset in the learning process.
See you at the beach!
Chris
