I am new to the NS kiting scene - just moved from NB and living in Halifax - Been kiting for a little bit now and looking to get introduced to some good/safe spots so I can get better! Great to find a forum like this!

Welcome to NS. You can find all the local beaches used by kiters here on this website. You'll just have to hunt around a bit. See you on the water.

If you haven't already found it on your own then check out our website:

Follow the "Beaches" link and there you will find an abundance of info about some of the places around Halifax and the rest of the province. My preference around halifax is Stoney or Conrads. Crescent beach down on the south shore is one my favorites as I seem to have the best luck for wind down there.

New to the site, looking for people to kite with. I have about 15 sessions under my belt so am still very much a beginner. I live in Bedford so if anyone wants to kte, send me an email scott colwell at eastlink
