I'm going to go give it a shot tomorrow. I'll report conditions via I Phone once I get there. Probably by 10/ 11 o'clock.

I'm in Stewiacke. It sucks. The rain turned the field into a sheet of ice. Oh well, time for plan B. Snowboarding in Wentworth. Unless I find a new spot along the way?!

There was a lot of rain coming down on friday, however moncton was getting a tonne of snow. I was driving in it on my way to fredericton but got stuck in Moncton till the morning. Finally made it to Fredericton in the morning and went snowboarding at Crabbe. We were just on the wrong side of this system it looks like and got stuck with the rain! Hopefully we'll get a bit more kiteable snow before it's time to hit the water!

Snowkiting in Stewiacke tomorrow Empty Snow Conditions

Post  gavin feargrieve Sun Feb 27, 2011 7:25 pm

Well, there's no snow in Stewiacke, but Wentworth (thru to Wallace on the North Shore) has major powder! I had to stop at 2396 on the 307 (just past the ski hill) in a spot where for a kilometer the snowbanks on the road side were 6ft. high on one side and 8ft. on the other. There are several big farm fields at this address, but I never spoke to anyone about getting permission. There was no wind.

Conditions on the hill were a bit icy . Same goes for the half pipe. BTW, the half pipe is pretty damn impressive. It's H U G E.
